Blog Earnings Report for Jan 2008

Jan 2008 has passed pretty quickly for me with two vacations and it was a rather spectacular month in regards to earnings as well. My earnings have jumped up 300% from last month earnings of $115.33 up to $343.63 in Jan 2008 as a result of more sponsored posts and blog advertising. I’m really not sure why the difference between the worst day (Saturday, Jan 12, 2008 - 2.44% of my AdSense earnings) and the best day (Sunday, Jan 13, 2008 - 3.97% of my AdSense earnings) was so immense considering that the best day followed the worst day immediately.
My previous earnings were as follows:
Nov 2007 earnings of $124.07
Oct 2007 earnings of $111.75

I’m still trying to get a little bit more diversity into my earnings with the goal that my AdSense earnings jump 50% while keeping the money earned stable. I think I will have to test a few schemes and get rid of some that do not make that much sense anymore. I have monetized my blog in 18 different ways listed below.

I want to concentrate on direct ad sales as well because this is something that I have been neglecting for a very long time. The stats from last month showed for instance that both Evertons and John Chows direct ad sales made up 9.11% and 11.45% of their total earnings while mine remained at 0.33%.

To sum up my plans for Feb 2008:

+ Remove AdSense Search and install a better search
+ Get rid of Feedburner Ads in Feeds
+ Try out some selected affiliate programs to diversify my income

How to Earn Extra Blog Revenue with PayPerPost

PayPerPost, get paid to blog about products and services. The sentence is very attractive and it seems to be easy-money-making program. It is simple, write posts on opportunity available, get approval and get paid.

Follow all the steps mentioned above properly. It might help you to get approval from PayPerPost. After you submit your blog to PayPerPost, you will need to wait for 3 to 4 days. Once your blog is approved, you can start to find opportunities in PayPerPost and make money.

Write Articles and Make Money on Helium

If you haven't heard of Helium by now, you should definitely go check it out. It's not a get rich quick scheme, and it doesn't beat writing SEO articles and web content for clients in terms of how much you can make, but damn it's just so much fun.

Here's how it works: You write articles on Helium on any topic you choose. You can write on a new topic, or one that already has articles written about it. All of the articles on one topic get lumped together, and users rate them. The higher up yours goes in its little group, the more of a share it earns from advertising revenue. Obviously the groups with 20 or so articles pay more if you get yours to the top, but this is harder to do in bigger article groups.

There are two other ways you can make money writing articles for Helium. The one is the competitions: first prize is $75, but to do this you will probably need to write 15 or so articles on various topics in the competition. This isn't really worth it money wise, but write about 5 articles and these articles will earn you money slowly anyway. You might even get a few bucks from winning!

The other way is to write articles for Helium publishers. Companies post article projects, and then anyone can have a go. The publisher picks the article they want, and pays that person. You get paid anywhere between around $20-$200 per article so if you're good, you can make BIG money writing articles for Helium.

Remember it pays to pick your topics well. Choose topics you think a lot of people will want to read about, and this way you'll make more money from your articles on Helium. The only drawback is that you can only be paid by Helium via your PayPal account - they don't offer other options.

Make money paypal ?

Lately there has been lots of searches for make money paypal that end up here on this blog. Google send me this traffic probably due to an earlier post warning to paypal users.

Those visits got me thinking nevertheless ... how can you make money with paypal ? (assuming that is what people where searching for).

You can't!!! Paypal is just a way to send or receive money. Paypal of course makes money with every transaction but we can't unless of course its a scam.

Search the internet for paypal scam and related phrases and quickly found this post and this having people claim to be making thousands of dollars in a very simple way.

The scam goes like this:
The scummer gives you a few paypal emails that you send a few bucks to.
You put your paypal email at the end of the list and you drop the first .
You post that message to as many places as you can and try to convince others to send money to that list ...

So not only this is a SCAM, and the initiators would get some $$ in their paypal accounts, people believing in it would start spamming forums and bulletin boards in order to get their message across ...
