Many might have said this and many of you are using this trick too, but for those who still did not gave it a try and think that Google AdSense does not pay well, read on and DO TRY IT!
The publishers bid in Google AdWords to get to the top in your blog pages where Ad Units are displayed. The theory is simple. The one who pays out more has more chances to be displayed at the top in the pages running ads. So the first Ad unit in your blog page will display the advertisers which pay the highest for clicks, the second Ad unit pays out lesser than the first and so on.
So what I want to suggest you here is to "use only one ad unit" in your blog page. Yes! I used to have two ad units in my pages. One below the header (728x15) and other below the heading of the article (300x200). Now all the Ads which were relevant to the article I published were displayed in the 728x15 Ad unit and other Ad units would publish non-relevant Ads. I removed the 728x15 Ad unit and "for the same number of clicks and visits" my AdSense earnings were raised by 6 times than the initial earnings!
So do this experiment right away. Use just one Ad unit in your page and I can assure you that you will be payed more for clicks than what you are being payed.
And if you are not using AdSense then do me a favor and click on the referral link below the video unit on the right side of my site and register for AdSense and start earning dollars.

How to get your post approved with PayPerPost
Most of you have been using PayPerPost and Kontera advertising for money making techniques on your blog. Recently I was told by some readers that their sponsored posts were declined by PayPerPost with the reason that
After the page fully loads there are pop up links to "Content links"
add's. Please deleted these from your post and re-submit.
If you want to avoid these types of negative rankings and bans for your blog with PayPerPost and still wish to continue with Kontera, here is the tip on how accomplish this using Kontera filter tags:
Filter Tags are used in order to define an area of the page where ContentLinks™ should not appear. All other areas of the page are valid mark areas. Please use these tags with caution in order to prevent a situation where large areas are filtered unintentionally.
Here’s how they work:
Like any tag it has an open tag (< span name="KonaFilter"> ) and closing tag ( < /span>).
The following is an example of how they work:
< span name="KonaFilter"> Content to be excluded from analyzing < /span>

Bloggers Unite and Make a Difference, Win Prizes
Bloggers Unite challenges bloggers everywhere, on December 17th, to do something good offline — an act of kindness — and then post about it on their blogs, using words, pictures, and/or videos to tell the story.
The Acts of Kindness bloggers unite challenge aims at putting a human face on bloggers who are responsible for so much good in the world. The goal is to expose their kindness and generosity as well as serve as an example to non-bloggers that volunteering for a charity, donating to a cause, or simply doing something kind for another person has a ripple effect around the world.
By challenging bloggers to blog about a particular social cause on a single day, a single voice can be joined with thousands of others to help make a real positive difference; from raising awareness for cancer, to an effort to better education systems or support 3rd world countries. Maybe 20,000 bloggers, vloggers, and photographers will make a difference.
How do you enter? On December 17th, write a post about your Act of Kindness and then submit your post URL to the Bloggers Unite Group. Winners will be announced the week of December 25th.

Google Images to drive more traffic
This is a brand new SEO technique that I discovered after reviewing my site stats. I found that 80% of my traffic is coming from google images but only 20% of my blog posts use google images. So I applied the 80/20 rule to my blog and have seen a tremendous increase in the visitor ratios.
1. All you have to go is link to an image from google images whenever you publish a post.
2. For example in this post I use the following code to link to an image of a super hot google girl.
< img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;" src="http://www.technewsdaily.net/uploaded_images/google-girl-780952.jpg" border="0" alt="Google Images to drive more traffic" />
3. Make sure that there is an ALT tag with the same title as your post. Seemingly Yahoo search engine likes this very well.
Thats the path to glory!
The mantra is to sprinkle a few images, photos, illustrations around your blog and at the very least it will make it more pleasing on the eye.
Hopefully it may bring a few additional benefits as well.
Getting link from .org , .gov and .edu sites
The education, organization and government sites are considered much more valued sites and links coming from those sites are valuable. You need to search and find such sites.
Do a simple search on Google with this search term:
http://www.google.com/search?q=site%…G=Search&hl=en
You may use another perfect search term special for edu blogs:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q…22&btnG=Search
With this string you will get all .edu blogs that allow posting comments and do not require to be logged in. Hope you find this string perfect. You can experiment with it for all kind of domains, it’s up to you. Make blog comments and put links in them, make sure your comment is genuine and not spam. You have to read the whole topic and find something to comment on the topic, job is done. After doing some comments maybe in a week you will see in Google index that you have links from .edu domain or .gov

Join rssHugger and create a viral marketing buzz for your Blog
rssHugger is a new website launched by Colin LaHay who also is responsible for Wordhugger.
RSSHugger is essentially a directory of RSS feeds to help bloggers promote their blogs, and to help visitors discover new blogs that write about subjects that the readers are interested in.
Through the power of the internet and viral marketing, rssHugger looks to bring blog writers and blog readers closer together. Previously, a blogger had to pay $10 to register their blog for a period of 10 years within the RSS Hugger directory, but after listening to the community outcry’s requesting the removal of the fee, Colin’s decided to trade inclusion in RSSHugger for backlinks and a review instead.
So its pretty simple, register at the site, blog about it, and you’re well on your way to a hopeful return of traffic and increased RSS subscriptions.
1. If you own a blog, you can get your own page on rssHugger for 10 years for giving an honest review of the site on your blog.
2. If you want to join rssHugger but do not want to review our site, you can pay a one time review fee of $20.
rssHugger will be the first ever quality, spam free, and viral rss directory strictly for bloggers.

FREE ‘Open Adder’ for MySpace.
If you are planning on running any kind of promotions on MySpace (which you should) then you may already be aware that the key to success is to acquire as many MySpace ‘friends’ as you can, as quickly as possible
To make this happen efficiently and quickly, many people are using what are called adder™ programs.
As the name probably suggests, such programs will add new friends to your account very quickly, and thus, they are a very powerful tool for anyone who is marketing through, or on, MySpace.
The problem was that, up to now, if you wanted an adder program, you needed to pay for it, as there was no free ‘adders’ out there.
Not any more! I’ve just started using a brand new adder program (new, as in, released less than one week ago) called Open Adder, which claims to be the only free, desktop based MySpace friend adder.
It has a complete feature set comparable to adders you pay $40 or more for and, according to the creators, Open Adder will always be free.
You can use Open Adder with as many profiles as you want, send friend requests, comments, messages, bulletins, event invites and so on.
It’s totally free, so you should definitely check it out here.

Formula to make $3000 per month though Google AdSense
Making money with Adsense is all about the numbers. Lets break it down and go into the math of how this can be done:
To make $3000 per month,
One would have to make $100 per day
Or $4.17 per hour
Let’s say your website displays normal price keywords with an average of $0.10 per click, therefore in an hour you’d have to average 42 clicks or 1008 clicks daily.
So how much traffic or rather, page impressions does it take to get 42 clicks in an hour?
Quite a lot I must say. If you get about 3% CTR on Adsense, to generate 1008 clicks daily, you got to have
1008 x 100% / 3% = 33,600 page impressions
That’s a lot! But if you get 3 page views per visit on average, then having 11,200 unique visitors daily would be enough to achieve the $3,000 goal.
I set a goal when I started this blog to get 10,000 visitors daily in one year. Obviously that’s not an impossible goal to achieve.
So if that go according to plan, I should be able to achieve $3,000 monthly in Adsense income within a year, right?
But here’s the thing, one way of achieving that goal faster or even surpass it is by targeting high paying keywords. So instead of getting a meager $0.10 per click, you could have got $0.50 per click which translates to 2240 unique visitors daily.
Another way you can reach this goal faster is by creating multiple blogs that will work together creating several revenue streams for you.
It sounds good but achieving such goal requires more than just traffic. Setting a target is one thing, but creating pages that convert well is a totally different thing all together which warrant a discussion of its own.
The trick is to write about subjects that people are actively searching for. Your ads should be just another extension to your content to help people find the solution to their problem or whatever it is that they are looking for.
Once you’ve achieved the goal, you can up the ante and set a higher goal, perhaps $5,000, $10,000 or more. I know this would keep my motivation going.
So play around with your numbers, check your Site Meter/web traffic stats, Adsense CTR and average pay per click amount. Do you think this is a reasonable target for you? Please leave your comment and tell us what you think.
