Position your Adsense ad units for maximum earnings

Just like Bikini positioning makes a difference, positioning your adsense ad units properly can make a huge difference in the amount of money you make. For example if I place ads below the fold on the front page is not a very good place to display ads and I should expect a low click through rate. If I place ad units in the side menu that may get a better click through rate but, still my readers have to scan that area of the page to find something they may be interested in clicking on. Finally If I place my ad units within an article using the CSS styling the readers eyes will naturally scan the ads as they are reading the article. Here is the CSS code I use to create my floating styles:

}

One word of caution and that is to always read and keep up on Adsense terms of service to avoid a violation which could cost you dearly.
