Make money visiting Texas Historic Landmark
If you are a history buff from Texas here is good opportunity to make some money by visiting W.H. Stark House, a Victorian landmark in Orange Texas.
Note that no pictures are allowed in the house, but photographs can be taken outside the historic landmark.
The history of The W.H. Stark House is as impressive as the landmark itself. It was built in 1894 by W.H. Stark and his wife, Miriam Lutcher Stark. It remains open currently for public tours, allowing visitors to view the Stark family’s original furnishings and personal effects, as well as rare 18th and 19th century decorative arts.
As the only surviving structure of many that once lined the tree-shaded, residential neighborhood in Orange, Texas, The W.H. Stark House is a unique testament to Texas’ social history and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and designated as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark by the Texas Historical Commission.
Today, the three-story structure stands much as it did at the turn of the 20th century, with fifteen rooms of original family furnishings, personal effects and decorative arts, including antique rugs, original textiles, silver, cut glass, and antique porcelain. Also featured are the Stark family’s impressive collections of American Brilliant Period cut glass, pressed and pattern glass, milk glass, porcelains, and other 18th and 19th century decorative accessories. The interior of both the W.H. Stark House and its adjacent Carriage House depicts the home life of the Starks in the early 1900s and provides an extraordinary statement of Texas’ social history.
The original owners and occupants were both avid collectors. Together, they amassed many 18th and 19th century decorative works as well as artistic pieces from their travels around the globe. A portion of the collection is also available online.

How to get extra 10% on your 2007 Economic Stimulus check?
Sears is pretty desperate for that stimulus check money. They're offering a bonus to anyone who converts their stimulus check into a Sears Gift Card. Note that the Stimulus Rebate is NOT an advance on next year's refund.
Sears plans on offering a 10% bonus to anyone who converts their fiscal-stimulus checks into a Sears or Kmart gift card.
The announcement came as many scrambled to turn in their taxes, which are due at midnight. The Internal Revenue Service will begin sending the checks in early May.
Customers can present their checks at a cash register at Sears and Kmart to convert it into a gift card at the full value of the check, and to receive a bonus gift card worth 10% of the check.
The details for shoppers who elect to receive the fiscal-stimulus check by direct deposit are still being worked out, but they will likely be able to register online to receive a coupon to bring to stores.
To be eligible, the amount of gift cards purchased must be equal to the full value of the stimulus check.
The promotion is scheduled to last between May 14 and July 19. The gift cards have no expiration and no fees.
Does this tempt you? Or will your rebate check go towards paying off some debt?

RevolutionMoneyExchange offers $25
RevolutionMoneyExchange offers $25 to new customers who open an account by May 15, 2008. This deadline keeps getting extended. It also offers $10 per successful referral of new customers. Those referrals can be accomplished by your causing RevolutionMoneyExchange to send an email to the new customer, or by putting a banner on your website on which your readers may click. Thus I hope you will click on mine. You still get the free $25 and the opprotunity to earn referral bonuses, and I get my $10. Thanks.
This company is direct competition to PayPal. So far as I can tell, it does pretty much the same thing. Though you must sign up by May 15, 2008, to get the $25 bonus (unless they extend this offer), you have 30 days from signup to link to a checking account and retrieve the bonus. I have successfully moved my $25 and some referral money to my checking account.
After you open your account, you could then refer you spouse for another $10 to you and an additional $25 to your family. Hmm... that's $60 so far...
From the bottom of the page you get: "Revolution MoneyExchange Account issued by First Bank and Trust, Brookings, SD, Member FDIC and part of the Fishback Financial Corporation."
Recently I found some links to articles and discussions that convince me that this is a legitimate business intending to compete with PayPal.

Northwest and Delta Airlines Post Merger Rewards
Northwest and Delta Airlines will be merging soon. So you want to get offers from both airlines now, before half of them disappear. Some examples that come to mind:
1. There are offers for both Northwest and Delta credit cards. One type will probably disappear.
2. American Express Membership Rewards point are convertible to Delta, but not Northwest miles. It is not known if that conversion will be available after the merger.
3. TD Ameritrade, Fidelity Investments, and Sharebulider have an offers for Delta, but not for Northwest. The Delta offers may disappear.
4. Comerica Bank has a Northwest offer that may disappear.
5. U.S. Bank has a debit card offer for Northwest that may disappear.
6. Delta and Northwest have different partners in the Home Building section of my Finance page. Some may disappear.
7. Chase offers Delta miles for student loans, but not Northwest miles.
8. Ameriprise Auto Insurance offers Delta, but not Northwest miles for getting a quote.
9. Ameriprise Financial Advisor offers Delta, but not Northwest miles for getting a consultation.
10. More Northwest than Delta miles are offered for cell phone deals.
11. T-Mobile HotSpot offers Delta, but not Northwest miles.
12. Various shopping portals, including those of Delta and Northwest, offer different miles deals for purchases. Get the better ones now.
13. There are Delta offers for newspaper subscriptions, that are not offered by Northwest.
14. The Netflix/Delta offer is better than that for Northwest. It is not known which will survive.
15. e-counters.com offers Delta, but not Northwest miles.
16. Delta has a drycleaning program with and up front bonus for signing up. Northwest does not.
17. Vinesse Wine Clubs currently has a better offer for Northwest miles than for Delta miles.

DoClix ContextGain Review
I first started using DoClix ContextGain on my blog, http://ghostrider30.blogspot.com since February 11th.
I discontinued it due to the low revenue being generated from it.
Here is another quick review survey I got from them :
1) Do you remember where you heard about us/how you found us?
Google AdSense Ads
2) How is the system working for you?
Not serving good ads. DoClix generating very litte income
3) Is there anything you would like to see added to the system that you feel would be really useful for you?
I would like more dynamic ads and hybrid ads like Kontera, and also I would like to see open statement that these ads are not violating Google Adsense TOS due to the popup kind of behavior.

How to Check Scam Online Money-Makers?
If you're new to online money-making, perhaps you're not yet aware of those scam online programs. The internet offers a wide variety of online money-making sites, thus it is important to know which programs are legitimate and fraud.
So, how are you going to verify if the program you are joining is LEGIT?
1. Search. The first thing you should do, which I personally do, is to search the Internet thru your favorite search engine like Google or Yahoo for reviews or forums about the earning site you are planning to join. Read what other people say and think about the program. Remember: do not just rely on only one review or forum. Gather information about the program as many as possible taking in consideration the good and bad side of the program. Note that if there are people who are unsatisfied with the said program, then it is better to think twice before signing up.
2. Ask. If you are a member to a forum site, then I advise you to post a discussion asking other members for their personal experiences about the said program. As stated earlier, don’t just look at the good side. Focus more on the bad side of the program. If you think it is not worthy to join, then don’t. But if you think it is worth a try, then go for it.
3. Assess. The third and last thing you should do is to review how the site earns. If the offer sounds too good to be true, then don’t join. Just forget about it and don’t waste your time and money over something that is uncertain. Remember that the Internet is a place of online scammers, so beware. Better be aware from the start rather than regretting in the end.

Advantages of FREE Blogger Platform
You may ask me if why I am using a free Blogger platform, not Wordpress or any other self hosted platform. You may even question me "If you really make money online, why are you using a free blogspot account?" Well, I do make money online, but it’s not because I am using a free hosted blog, it means I can’t afford to have one. Well, I got my own reasons why I choose Blogger, just like any bloggers do.
In my opinion, choosing a suitable blogging platform depends on the blogger himself. His technical expertise must be taken into consideration before deciding if he should go for Blogger, Wordpress, or any self hosted platform.
I use the free Blogger platform because, obviously, aside from being free, it's easier to use and user friendly - which is a big factor to newbie bloggers like me. Some average bloggers, even professionals, says in forums that Wordpress is better than Blogger. I admit, one blogger even advised me to switch to Wordpress and offered help.
Sound great. But, honestly I am not yet ready for Wordpress or any other platform. I am satisfied with Blogger and everything is great with me. I like my template. I am now familiar with almost everything about Blogger. I am not very proficient with HTML especially PHP so I think I have to stick using Blogger for now. If time comes that a need for switching to another platform arise well let's see. As of now, I will keep myself with Blogger.
I know different bloggers who became successful in blogging using the Blogger platform so I think I can be like them too. I also heard that Google prioritizes Blogger blogs... so since there are a lot of benefits in using Blogger in my case, why should I switch? Not yet :D
Now you know why I am using the Blogger platform, can you also share which platform are you using and why?

Privacy Policy For Google Adsense Publishers
Recently, Google Adsense updated their Terms of Service. That's why when you logged in to your account, their Terms of Service policy will be displayed requiring you to re-read and click "I agree".
Their new TOS popped up after I logged in my account later last month but honestly, I did not read it. I thought it was a technical issue so I just clicked on "I agree" and continued checking my Adsense earnings.
But after reading from several blogs saying it's a must to create a Privacy Policy for each Google Adsense publishers and post it on their blogs or websites, I felt obliqued. I thought I should post a Privacy Policy in all of my blogs using Adsense ads. I've created - I mean copied and edited- my own and posted next.
If you are an Adsense publisher, you should know that it's a must to have a Privacy Policy on all your AdSense sites. This is not optional. When you agreed to the new terms, you agreed to do this too.
Better do it rather than be sorry in the future. We all know that Google Adsense are strict in terms of complying with their policies. I am starting to post Privacy Policy in all my blogs using Adsense.
I think you should too.

Is Bad Credit Good?
Could a bad credit rating save you from bigger problems? It has done just that for many young people. How can this be?
I am not recommending that you purposely try to get a bad credit rating, but if you already have one, it isn't all bad. The habits that got you there would probably get you into even more trouble if you could borrow more bad credit loans. Look at it as an opportunity to stop going further into debt, and a chance to learn better habits.
Start paying cash for everything. Pay down those credit card balances (the higher interest ones first). The moment you get those cards paid off, start setting aside money to buy a good used car for cash. When you've done that, start putting what would have been a car payment into a savings account, for a future down payment on house or a business (the only things you should borrow for). A bad credit credit card rating can be good thing, if you take it as a lesson and an opportunity.

How to make money while playing games online?
Free to sign up and free to play, Moola starts you off with $0.01 and then you double your balance for each game you win. You have the potential to make $10,000,000 by just winning 30 games. Yes, I said potential. You see for each game you lose, you lose the amount you bet on it. So if you bet your one cent and lose, you start over. But, do not despair! You can bet as little or as much as you want and climb up the ladder steadily. Also, there are a few helpful things along the way…
First of all, there is the Search and Win feature which pays you for searching. Just make the moola search engine your homepage and use it like you would any other search engine and you have the potential to make money every time you search. When you make a search a wheel will pop up with a bunch of dollar amounts around it. You spin the wheel and whatever it lands on, you win! Doing this a few times a day will add up your balance very quickly and allow you to play at a higher level.
Currently there are 3 games that you can play: High or Low in which they give you a card and you have to pick whether the next card will be higher or lower, Ro Sham Bo, which is a rock paper scissors type game, and Goldrush in which they give you six pieces of gold to compete against another player with.
Moola is highly addictive and fun, and can earn you a few extra bucks while you’re playing. If you’re interested in giving it a try, follow this link and sign up.

Improved Ranking at Alexa
The folks at Alexa have announced that their ever so popular (but, many might argue, often inaccurate) ranking system for web sites has been altered. The official word on the changes is slightly vague: Alexa claims “better rankings,” and “improved methodology,” but doesn’t go into detail.
One change, however, is definitely a big one: Alexa is now using several sources for its rankings. So far, Alexa has measured rankings of web sites according to the users of their Alexa Toolbar, and this was the main source of users’ and experts’ criticism. For one, the Toolbar is not available for all platforms (you can’t get it for a Mac, and that’s why Mac-oriented sites have always ranked poorly on Alexa). Secondly, the Toolbar was reportedly mostly used by the tech-savvy demographic which are interested in rankings, and therefore various technology and SEO sites were perhaps unfairly well ranked.
Now, the Toolbar is not the only source of data anymore, although Alexa doesn’t elaborate on what exactly these other sources are. While this certainly sounds like an improvement, until we get the details about these mystical new data sources, it’s hard to assume that Alexa is more or less accurate. What do you think? Has the Alexa ranking for your website changed? Please let us know in the comments.
Update: if you’re wondering why the “max” setting shows only the last 9 months, it’s because the old data is no longer available. This is a big drawback, as one of Alexa’s biggest strengths was the fact that they had data for several years back. Luckily, the change is only temporary; nevertheless, they can expect thousands of emails from angry users who’ll want their old data past the 9 months range.

FREE links with Smorty Post exchange program
Post exchange program is for the Smorty community to become stronger by helping each other. It simply aims to build a strong and ongoing inbound link structure and increase your online traffic. It is completely free to use and all approved blogs can participate. Please play by the rules just as you would with a paid post. Post quality will affect your overall Smorty five star rating.
Post exchange works on a point based system. For every post you write, a different blogger can write a post for you in return. Exchange as many posts as you can until you have used up your chosen category of bloggers. You can take one task at a time. Once this has been submitted you may take your next task. For every post you write, a post will be written for you by a different blogger, one for one.
Posts are exchanged among the blogs under the same category as yours.
Your posts will be exchanged only under similar Smorty star rated bloggers.
There is no reciprocal delivery. That means there is no cross linking.
Blogs are only selected from the same category with closer star ratings to yours.
To keep it simple and fair Google page rank has no effect on task delivery.
Post exchange ratings are affected in the same way as paid posts affect your rating. Your star rating will be affected by a disputed post, a declined post and an approved post. Bloggers can also manually give you a rating out of 5 stars for your post.
You can only dispute a post based on the same post exchange rules you must follow. The are outlined to the right of this page. If a post does not comply with the post exchange rules then it can be disputed a maximum of three times. The writer of the post has two chances to fix the problem. On the third time it will be declined automatically and a new blogger will take the task.
Rules
1. Posts must be uniquely written
2. Post and exact link must be permanent.
3. Minimum 150 words.
4. Posts must be accessible from home page.
5. Posts must be written in English.
6. Posts must have correct spelling and grammar.

A money making article marketing exchange solution
--> http://www.sponlinks.com <-- is the new money making article marketing exchange solution and is more then a non-reciprocal article exchange, that uses your spun articles from Jetspinner, as originally described.
Its been integrated with my ground breaking organic linking system that made a tiny mention of last month in my blog.
It literally adds a whole new meaning to organic paid and exchanged links.
It creates links so organic, no one can possibly decipher that they have been purchased or exchanged. Links so natural, they appear in your actual site content. Links so exceptional, they add value and depth to already existing content. Links so powerful, they bring you not only top search engine rankings but also direct traffic!
You should have:
- At least 1 site with PR 1+
- A server with PHP and Apache (90% of servers qualify here, if you have cPanel and Web Host Manager you likely qualify, ask your site host to make sure)
- A willingness to give your honest feedback and point out issues that arise.
- A willingness to sign a basic NDA (non-disclosure agreement) guaranteeing your silence regarding our proprietary technology until public release.

Three steps to increasing AdBrite revenue yield
Here are useful tips from AdBrite Blog to help drive more revenue for publishers who use text and/or banner zones.
This simple 3-step plan should increase your chances of maximizing revenue yield. These are fairly basic tips, but often it’s the tried-and-true advice that works best.
1) Choose prominent, above-the-fold zone placements
The old adage says three things matter in real estate: location, location, location. The same is true for online advertising.
To maximize revenue production, make sure your AdBrite ad zone is prominently placed. This usually means “above the fold” (at the top of the page) or near other content areas where users are likely to discover and engage with ad messages.
With more prominent placements, users are more likely to click on your text ads, and banner advertisers will find your inventory more desirable. All of this should increase your revenue yield per page.
2) Choose banner-and-text zones
AdBrite offers site owners lots of flexibility to choose how ads are displayed on your sites.
Over time, we’ve found that standard zone sizes, which expose your site to banner and text ads in our auction, yield maximum revenue for publishers. For example, the medium rectangle (300×250) is our highest-yielding ad placement.
Choosing one of our five standard banner-and-text zone sizes exposes your zone to the maximum possible advertiser demand from both banner and text advertisers. More buyers usually means more relevant ads and a higher price.
3) Try Inline and Full Page Ad products
By choosing above-the-fold banner-and-text zones, you’ve already set yourself up to receive our highest-yielding banner and text ads. To boost your revenue even further, try inline ads and Full Page Ads.
Inline ads are interactive and take up less real estate than standard zones. Up to eight words that you already have on your site will be highlighted, and you generate revenue when a user mouses over the double-underlined word and clicks on an associated text ad.
Full Page Ads allow you to earn incremental revenue without using your website space. Publishers running Full Page Ads typically generate $3-10 CPMs for those ads.

A new way to reward Helium writers
Helium is growing – thanks to your hard work. We've come a long way since even this time last year. And we've still got lots of great years together ahead!
Just as we are constantly improving the site, we are continually looking at our business to make improvements. As we've matured with 100,000+ writers on the site, we realize that not all those writers have remained active on Helium. Some writers submitted just a few articles and left the site, while others have become active, even addicted members of our community.
As we have begun to analyze the Helium Ad Revenue Share model, we have identified a long tail of articles on our site that are earning pennies, nickels and dimes that belong to writers who are no longer involved with Helium. We feel that this long tail of earnings might be better utilized if we shared it with our active members – those of you who are turning Helium into the successful, thriving site it has become.
So we're floating the idea of a new payment system. Our concept is to share our ad revenue only with members of the Helium community who maintain one rating star on the site. A single rating star is easy to obtain, and as we all know, rating is at the core of Helium's success. You can earn a rating star by doing only 40 "quality" ratings within the last 90 days – that's less than 15 ratings per week!
Why a rating star and not a writing star? As it turns out, our payment system is geared to allocating payments toward the best content on the site, so the starred writers are already being paid their fair share. Although it's true that every article on Helium participates in the ad revenue share, it turns out that the better-ranked articles get far more views, and as a result, they earn more than lower-ranked articles. That's the way it should be.
If writing is the heart of Helium, rating is its soul. The success of Helium is based on its community of writers who are sharing their insights, knowledge and creativity through submissions. And success at Helium is also driven by the judgments we provide every day through rating.
Let us know what you think. You can join a conversation about this on the Helium boards. Or drop an email to heliumnewsfeedback@helium.com.

How To Make Money Selling Recipes
Practically everybody's got hundreds of recipes stashed away somewhere. Why not sell 'em? So why don't you? The right way is to run a small classified ad in any of the tabloid newspapers. You could also try a local newspaper, even put up a little note on the bulletin board in your local grocery store, church, community center or dozens of other places.
If you have something unusual, especially if you offer a package deal like 5-10 recipes for $2.00 or so, you can get quite a few responses, and indeed make a profit. Of course most people try a market a single recipe, charge upwards of $5.00 and end up with nothing to show for their efforts.
Anyone running recipe ads will be guaranteed lots of responses. Promise. No, they won't be from people wanting your favorite recipe. Well, maybe one or two will. Most inquiries will be offers to join a recipe club. Right now this very minute hundreds of people are going through the classified ads getting ready to send the unsuspecting recipe advertiser an offer to join their recipe club, which is another version of an illegal chain letter.
The first thing promoters of this type of scheme will tell you is that every one of their members gets hundreds and hundreds of people to send them one, two, even five dollars per recipe. It won't happen and it's illegal. As I already said very few people will part with $2-$5 for a single recipe, unless you know how to turn lead into gold or something equally exciting. So don't waste your money joining any clubs.
OK, now that you were warned what is likely to happen, it's time to tell you how you can, with a little luck, make money selling recipes. To keep your advertising costs to a minimum you must use classified ads. To compete with the dozens of others offering recipes you have to grab the readers attention. I know of no one who reads classified ads. People just skim through them and stop if they see something interesting.
So the most important part of your classified ad must be the first three or four words Choose powerful words that make your potential customer excited enough to read the rest of your ad.
Note the difference between the two ads on the following page. It's the same recipe but the choice of words in the first is so bland that practically everyone will pass it up. The second should at least spark a bit of curiosity, and get your potential customer to read the rest of your ad.
GRANDMA'S CHOCOLATE TORTE CAKE
Delicious easily prepared dessert that your family will love. Send $2 & SASE to Jane Smith, allrecipesonline.blogspot.com
FOR CHOCOLATE LOVERS ONLY.
Mouth watering sinfully delicious desserts. 5 tempting recipes you'll love. $2 Smith, allrecipesonline.blogspot.com
Write and rewrite your ad to get maximum impact with the fewest possible words Not only will your ad be more effective, it will cost you a lot less to run it as well.
Note the all too common mistakes in the first ad. A single recipe for something that probably can be found in most cook books. Unnecessary words that cost extra money. Nothing left to the reader's imagination. The reader's probably thinking I could call up Aunt Betty and get her Chocolate Torte recipe, besides I owe her a phone call anyway. Such an ad will draw few if any responses.
The first ad implies the recipe is easy to prepare. Usually a fatal mistake in recipe ads. Either the potential customer will think "if it's so easy to fix... it isn't worth the $2, or heck, I don't have the time prepare anything elaborate, I think I'll pass. It's a lose/lose method. Don't use it!
Another mistake is saying your family will love it. The reader may be thinking "You don't know my family." What you should be doing is get the reader to think about what he likes in desserts, without bringing back any bad memories. Since there's no way to know what the reader of your ad likes, stick with general terms. The exception should be the ad's headline (the first three or four words) which should qualify a general type of recipe without getting to specific.
The second ad serves this purpose and also uses a little psychology. How many ads have you seen that say "Don't read this?" It's only human nature that you will want to read it all the more.
Using verbs to describe the desserts probably gets the reader's mind to thinking back to the last dessert he enjoyed, without causing him to remember a specific dessert he may not have liked at all.
Not telling exactly what recipes you'll get will peak curiosity if the price is right. Of course offering 5 different recipes for the same price others charge for one recipe will improve you response rate without really increasing your costs.
Eliminating unnecessary words not only makes the ad more readable, it saves money too.
Finally, don't come across as being cheap. Asking for a self addressed stamped envelope will turn off a lot of potential customers The whole purpose of your ad should be to get inquiries so you can sell additional items. Remember, a satisfied customer is likely to order from you again. The key to making money in mail order is repeat business
Everyone likes a "free gift" so include a bonus free recipe or two.
When responses come in, fill orders daily. Don't wait around to see what the mailman brings tomorrow. Have a collection of additional recipes you can sell ready to go. Make a circular and include with the recipes you just sold. Offer a discount or some kind of special for ordering right away.
Consider selling hard to find kitchen tools you purchase wholesale or cook books from publisher's over stocks. Don't give up if you don't have success immediately, but be smart enough to know when things aren't working.
