iPhone Apps Allow you to Email Multiple Photos from your iPhone
Have you been in a situation where you want to send multiple photos from your iPhone?
If you use iPhone's camera regularly (like I have started doing even though its very basic) chances are that the answer to that question is "Yes". Unfortunately, you can email only one photo at a time from your iPhone.
iPhone apps SendPhotos & Multi-Photo Email solve this problem by allowing you to email multiple photos from your iPhone.

Leaked Photos of New iPhone?
iPod Observer has just posted a photo and are claiming to it be the back cover of the new iPhone about which we have heard quite a few rumors since Macworld 2009.The photo reveals that the new iPhone case would sheds its shiny black finish for a matte look.
Last year, iPod Observer were responsible for posting the first leaked image of Apple's iPhone 3G which had turned out to be spot on.They wrote on their blog about the leaked photos: Apple may be preparing to roll out an updated version of its 16GB iPhone 3G. An image showing a new case back seems to back up rumors that an iPhone update is on the way thanks to its model number, A1303, which previously hasn't appeared on any iPhone model.
The new iPhone case back appears to shed its glossy appearance for a matte black look, and also sports what may be etched markings which indicates the plastic used in the current iPhone 3G model may be dumped in favor of a metal back -- much like the first generation iPhone."
Interestingly,MacRumors has also received additional photos claiming to be that of the new iPhone which appears to be from the same series. They can be seen below:The images of the back cover of the new iPhone have apparently originated from China and is said to be textured for better gripping.
It goes without saying that like any leaked photos, the photos are difficult to authenticate.
So assuming that these are the photos of the new iPhone, what do you think about the matte look? Do you prefer it over the shiny black finish of iPhone 3G?

Google Dumps Optimized version of iGoogle for the iPhone; Redirects to a Standard Mobile version Instead
One of our readers, Jesse, had sent an email late last week to inform us that Google has dumped the optimized version of iGoogle for the iPhone and is redirecting users to a standard mobile version instead.
So if you type www.igoogle.com in your iPhone Safari's address bar, you will now be taken to standard mobile version of iGoogle at www.google.com/m/ig instead of the iPhone version at www.google.com/ig/i. If you try to go to the iPhone version directly, you will get redirected to the mobile version of iGoogle.
This hasn't gone too well with iPhone users who used to love the iPhone version of iGoogle.

VOiPover3G - Hack Allows iPhone Users to Make VOiP Calls over 3G/EDGE/GPRS
One of the limitations of VOiP iPhone apps such as Fring and Truphone that are available on the App Store is that you can make VOiP calls only over Wi-Fi and not over the your iPhone's data connection. This is due to limitation of Apple's iPhone SDK which was most likely enforced on Apple by carriers.
But there is good news, iPhone Hacker, crash-x, has developed a clever little hack aptly called VOiPover3G that tricks iPhone apps into thinking that they are on Wi-Fi even though they are on 3G/EDGE/GPRS. Thus allowing you to make VOiP calls over your iPhone's data connection.

Rumor: Apple is Considering Allowing iPhone Apps to Run in the Background
Push Notification Service was supposed to be Apple's solution to allow iPhone apps to run in the background. It is one of most requested features by iPhone users along with copy and paste and support for Adobe's Flash. Apple had announced that it would be available to iPhone users in September 2008.
However, Apple had strangely pulled out the Push Notification Service APIs in fourth beta version of iPhone firmware 2.1 and there has been no further updates from Apple about the feature.
But looks like Apple has not forgotten about it. MacRumors is hearing that Apple is considering allowing real background processes instead.

Superbowl porn video is disturbing
Comcast subscribers in Arizona must have the shock of their lives when a Superbowl porn video appeared out of nowhere towards the end of the Superbowl 2009 game. Oh my gully!
I have seen the Superbowl porn video! It really is porn but not hardcore! I am not posting the video here but only provide you with the link. Please if you are at work, the video is NSFW. The pornographic film shows a lady unzipping a man's jeans and exposing his meat, alright his Superbowl penis.
Comcast is a major cable company and must explain this to all disgusted viewers. Something like this to happen in a Superbowl game when all the kids gather around the TV sets is so dismaying.
The super bowl porn clip interruption happened just after the last touchdown by the Arizona Cardinals, who lost the match to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
UPDATE: Comcast just released this statement: "We are mortified by last evening's Super Bowl interruption and we apologize to our customers. Our initial investigation suggests this was an isolated malicious act. We are conducting a thorough investigation to determine who was behind this."
