Magpie, a new advertising addon for Twitter to earn extra $$$

As many of you know, there’s currently a controversial new Twitter Advertising Company called Magpie, a company located in Germany. Magpie places relevant advert “tweets” which are placed along with your existing tweets. They pay according to 4 different models: pay per view, pay per click, pay per lead and pay per sale. Many people don’t like having adverts in.

Magpie tweets are actually relevant to your normal tweets, making them less like “advertising”, and sometimes they make it hard for someone to realize if it’s an ad or a real tweet.
