The Starwood American Express credit card is my favorite credit card for acquiring miles. All members of the Starwood Starpoints program should register for its quarterly promo. Register to receive through March 31, 2008

1,000 points for your first stay.
2,000 points for your second stay.
3,000 points for your third stay.

Stays must be at the same participitating hotel or resort.

Four Points by Sheraton: Use any American Express Card to book and receive a third night free. Book and stay by March 11, 2008. Arrive on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

Double your British Airways Miles when you spend two nights or more in a participating Sheraton in Europe, Africa and Middle East 1 November 2007 - 15 January 2008.

Starwood offers discounts to AARP members of up to 50% on 21-day advance purchase rates or 15-25% off reservations every day.

Meeting planners should join Starwood's Preferred Planner program to earn mega points for holding events at its hotels.
