iPhone's Safari browser is one of my favorite iPhone apps and easily the best mobile browser I have used by a long distance.
However, even if if you ignore the crashes (which have reduced but not gone away post iPhone firmware 2.2) it is far from being perfect in terms of features. It has quite a few basic features missing such as ability to copy and paste content from a web page, searching for a word or text on a web page etc.
iSpazio has released a Safari Addon plugins to bring the missing functionality to iPhone's Safari browser.

Visual Dial which is available on the App Store and Callme which is available via Cydia for jailbroken iPhone are two iPhone apps that are aiming to bring the missing speed dial feature to the iPhone.
The iPhone apps allow users to add their friends photos as speed dial icons to their iPhone's home screen (as if it were an iPhone app) for easy one-touch-dial.

Animoto Videos Makes Instant Slideshow from Your Photos Right on the iPhone
Animoto has just launched a cool application for the iPhone on the App Store called Animoto Videos that you can download for free.
All you need to do is select 8 to 16 photos from your iPhone's camera roll, pick some music to play in the background and it will create an instant video (slideshow) for you of the selected photos which you can watch immediately on the iPhone or share via email with your friends and family.

Hastags to increase followers and a hot video on how Twitter got its name
I noticed an increase in my Twitter followers lately, and it’s mainly from creating hashtags. One way to to get new like-minded followers is by taking advantage of the hashtag to give your tweets more exposure. Hashtags are a community-driven convention for adding additional context and metadata to your tweets. They’re like tags on Flickr, only added inline to your post. You create a hashtag simply by prefixing a word with a hash symbol: #hashtag
You can also use a service like Twitscoop to find out what the hot topics are and join in. If people like what you’re saying, chances are they’ll follow you.
