Would you cut the last power cord ?
It's great that we have wireless email and wireless internet and stuff like that but at the end of the day it would be nice to have wireless recharge as well..That is potentially a world changing event..Well thanks to Intel, this will soon be a reality. Intel gave a successful demo showing Electricity can be sent wirelessly to a lamp on stage, lighting a 60 watt bulb that uses more power than a typical laptop computer. Most importantly, the electricity was transmitted without zapping anything or anyone that got between the sending and receiving units.
The wireless electric power system could revolutionize modern life by freeing devices from transformers and wall outlets. The trick with wireless power is not can you do it; it's can you do it safely and efficiently. It turns out the human body is not affected by magnetic fields; it is affected by elective fields. So what we are doing is transmitting energy using the magnetic field not the electric field.
Examples of potential applications include airports, offices or other buildings that could be rigged to supply power to laptops, mobile telephones or other devices toted into them. The technology could also be built into plugged in computer components, such as monitors, to enable them to broadcast power to devices left on desks or carried into rooms. Initially it eliminates chargers and eventually it eliminates batteries all together.
Intel's wireless power system is in an early stage of development and still some research remains before it can be brought to market.

Cycorder 0.9-4 is a free video recorder with the ability to record sound. This brought to you by Jay Freeman. This app can be found in Cydia. This is add supported, but the ads are very small and do not get in the way. Help support his work by visiting those ads.
This features real-time video compression. This is really nice. Once you are done making your vid you can watch it within seconds. All vidoes can be found in /var/mobile/Media/Videos folder. To access this folder you will need to ssh into your iPhone (of course you knew that though). Example video taken using Cycorder. Video quality is better in higher light.

How Airlines can make more money
I took a flight from Boston to Houston the other day and I had a nagging passenger sitting besides me. With this I thought of an idea that I wish to convice the commercial airlines industry. If you are travelling along, why can't the airlines allow you to choose the passenger based on certain allowable FAA criteria. Well I am not suggesting to promote Airline dating, but atleast with the right companion you will not be airbornically bored. Something to think about if someone thinks about redesigning the next generation of online reservation system for the airlines and make money out of it. I am sure this will also boost the sales and economy of the airlines industry as a whole. Many single people will start flying again :-)
Google AdSense for Feeds not working for me
I got my Feedburner feeds migrated to AdSense last month and even blogged about making more money with Google AdSense for Feeds. However after reviewing this arrangement for a month, it appears that the AdSense is not making as much income as my FeedBurner feed was making. There are very few things to tweak in AdSense settings for Feeds.
I am planning to make a few adjustments given below and see if these techniques work in a month of review:
1- Move the ads before the post
2- Reduce the ads from every post to every other post
3- Change the colors on my own rather than letting Google decide it
4- Make the feed channel targetable to advertisers
I will keep everyone posted about my findings both good and bad about optimizing Google AdSense for Feeds. Stay tuned.
Talk an iWalk using Google Walk on iPhone
Google has added walking directions to its Google Maps whereever there are sidewalks, pedestrian bridges or if a specific street is simply too busy to cross. The walking directions ignore one-way streets and Google Maps tries to give pedestrians the most direct and flat route possible.Walking directions are available everywhere Google offers driving directions.
Google currently only allow users to chose the walking options for routes shorter than 6.2 miles (or 10 kilometers). Because of the limitations in its database, it is calling the walking directions a 'beta' products, but, of course, that doesn't mean much when it comes to Google products.
The iWalk concept works really well on the iPhone and hope Google or some fellow developer adds this soon to a 'Google Mobile App' for the iPhone.

Will the MS Google wars beat the Pepsi Coke war
On April Fools day in 2006, Google has a page announcing its new web brower. I found them intriguing, as anyone would, but no such browser ever appeared, and Google became an enthusiastic Firefox booster. The blogosphere pretty much stopped pondering but now that is a reality all of a sudden. Codenamed: Google Chrome is Google's new browser and is slated to be available on Sep 2 2008 i.e. tomorrow.
Interestingly their download page and tour was already partly available at http://gears.google.com/chrome/
Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier. Make no mistake. The cute comic book that was released and the touchy-feely talk about user experience is little more than a coat of paint on top of a monumental hatred of Microsoft. History will witness its most frontal and aggressive attack on Microsoft yet, sources with knowledge of the project said Google is preparing to unveil a new browser-ready for download to users as early as tomorrow-to try out the next big thing in internet history, happening on Sep 2, 2008.
Make money from poetical blogosphere
I was surfing the poetical blogosphere today and came across a poem by an anonymous writer that struck me like a lightening. There was a disclaimer on their site in source HTML that I could use the poem with permission, so I am posting it here on my blog with their permission. How is this related to the topic of my blog? Freedom of Ads decommisioned and submitted the dissatisfaction survey
I forgot that my BidVertiser code was linked with Freedom of Ads, and so I got rid of Freedom of Ads as well. Within an hour of decommisioning this advertiser, their support staff sent me a request to fill a short survey about their performance as a network. The deal was that if I participate in this anonymous questionnaire, I'll be entered in a random drawing to win $1000 cash. Inactive publishers were also eligible to win the prize. But I was active most of the time.
The survey consisted of 30 short questions and took 5-10 minutes to complete. I took this opportunity to have my voice heard about my dissatisfaction about this network, and even at the end of their survey they reduced their winning amout from $1000 to $500. Their original email had quoted $1000 as winning amount. What a looser to trick your customers and reduce the prize amount.

Blog cleanup activity completed
After reviewing my last blog income report for August 2008, I have decided to remove some suckers who just hog my blog without generating any revenue. The top 4 suckers for my blog were:

4)Ads-Click: I realized that Ads-Click was such a big sucker that I didn't even care to publish its review on my blog.
