PPP secret - How much does the top blogger make in a month?

Colleen is the big money maker on PPP. As of today, she’s made $18,534.23. Great right? Let’s compare that total with where she was at a month ago. $18,165.74. That means that she’s made a whopping $368.49

That’s terrible. She is the biggest earner over at PayPerPost and she can only make around $370 a month? What are they doing at PPP. I thought they got like 10 million in funding. Why not use it to get some more advertisers and jobs for the bloggers who made that site successful. Maybe it’s a fluke. Let’s look at another top earner at ppp. Chan made $13,473.03 in December, her November total was $13,363.11 Chan made $109.92 this past month.

I know that google taxed them of their PR and they can’t take higher paying opportunities anymore, but still. Comparing their earning with my July Blog Income Report, now makes me really proud.

Twitter is the new killer application making waves on the social networking front, according to a recent report by an independent research group. Twitter is like a dynamic IM that anyone can read. It is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

The twitts are limited to 140 letter posts and can be updated from the web or any SMS enable device, like a cell phone or iPhone. My favorite is the Twinkle application on iPhone.

Twitter can be a great marketing tool or it can be a great time waster. In reality, it’s both. I use Twitter as a research and marketing tool. I also use it to post my blog feeds on Twitter using Twitterfeed

Blog Income Report for July 2008

Once again it’s time for a Blog Income Report. If I had to summarize this month in three words they would be “Need More Time!”

This month has definitely been testing my time and energy management skills. As you’ve seen in my income reports I’ve been taking on some Blog Promoting work which I really enjoy so a large portion of my time has been focused on that, along with the satellite blogs I’m building to expand my passive income.

Besides writing content, I haven’t had too much time to devote to socializing in terms of building traffic to the site, selling ads etc. so that’s something I’m definitely going to have to put more energy behind in August.

July was something of an accidental experiment for me. So much for “a great deal more posting” ! Although traffic to this blog is generally low, there was still enough to see whether or not frequent blogging actually matters, especially for a young blog.
