He even said he will send anyone $1k if this method doesn’t work for them. He teaches us how to use facebook and other social bookmarking site together to maximize the earning. Top 5 phrases to raise Google AdWords revenue

Top 5 phrases to raise Google AdWords revenueDid you know, there exist powerful, tiny phrases, which (in just a few seconds) can add impact to your Google AdWords text, live conversations, emails, Google AdWords landing webpage text and more?

Here (in reverse order) are these 5 proven phrases, from winning copywriters;

#5-”As crazy as that sounds.”

This phrase stops your viewers from turning away, by recognizing their (ever present) sense of skepticism.

Weak: “This Truck Could Get You 50 Miles to the Gallon”

Strong: “This Truck Could Get You 50 Miles to the Gallon, as Crazy as That Sounds.”

#4-”Once difficult, now easy.”

A powerful phrase for relaying your service or physical item, can make your client’s life easier. Works great in headlines and sub-heads;

Weak: “Managing Joomla Websites.”

Strong: ” Managing Joomla Websites - Once Difficult, Now Easy.”

#3-”If you will let me.”

This one really adds something special, if you need to sound courteous and helpful. You see, you’re asking your prospect’s permission to help them and resolve their problem.

Bad: “I want to prove to you how you’ll be 99.3% rid of dirt in your carpet.”

Correct: “I want to prove to you you’ll be 99.3% rid of dirt in your carpet. If you will let me.”

#2-”This year.”

This time-related phrase can add a sense of urgency in your copy. You need to remind people the clock is ticking. And adding a time element like this, is a very easy way to do so.

Weak: “How to Cut Your Child’s University Costs by up to 30%.”

Strong: “How to Cut Your Child’s University Costs by up to 30%. This Year.”

#1-”After that, it’s too late.”

Using this cool little phrase can help emphasize you’re serious about your deadline.

Uncool: “This offer ends in 3 hours.”

Cooler: “This offer ends in 3 hours. After that, it’s too late.”

Try using these in Google AdWords and you’ll see your response start to rise, with these proven phrases.

Make money by personalizing stationary for your blog

Make money by personalizing stationary for your blogPhoto Cards are the best tools for a blogger to offer as a advertising tool for their blog and make money by gaining more popularity among social networks. Now you can get any type of card at a very low cost. Whether you are a blogger, internet marketer, artist, graphic designer or else, the secret to getting things done effectively is to use applications and tools that allow us to save time while staying connected in this social sphere.

I am planning to run a contest on my blog very soon and planning to offer the winning prize as a collection of my bikini models on one of the photo cards. Isn't it a great idea to keep my blog alive and get more backlinks to improve my CTR and blog revenue ? My bikini models will make me a cool looking photo card stationary. It is possible to write anything on the front and inside of the card, so I would offer some links to my money making posts on this blog and attract more visitors by offline marketing of these photo cards. I am sure this will be a cool money making technique for anyone following these rules. Once you try this technique you'll never order cards at a store again.

Think back to the last time you received an unexpected card from a friend or associate . . . the appreciation you felt that they took the time and thought to actually send you a card. Also sending custom Business Greeting Cards is an affordable and excellent way to show your gratitude and acknowledge your customers with the extra attention they deserve.

Best practices for AdSense for feeds

Best practices for AdSense for feedsFeeds represent an exciting new way for publishers to distribute their content to users. By placing relevant, useful ads in feeds through the AdSense for feeds program, publishers will now be able to receive payment for their original content when it is distributed in a feed. Below is the set of best practices for publishers participating in AdSense for feeds.

Syndicate the full text of your articles. The more content that is available in a site's feed, the better the user experience, and the more likely people are to subscribe your feed. If you can't put the full text of your articles in your feed, then in addition to the headline of each article, include as informative a snippet as possible of the article's text.

Don't include more than one ad unit per article. Feeds represent an uncluttered, highly targeted medium, and these characteristics should be preserved to maintain and grow an audience. The AdSense for feeds ad format has been designed to be very streamlined to ensure that users are not overwhelmed with advertising.

Place the ad unit at the end of articles. The content of an article is what users are most interested in, and that should be placed first. Then they can read the ad with more context.

Include terms and conditions on the use of your feeds. Just as you have rights associated with the original content you create on your website, so do you have rights associated with your feed content. If you have concerns about those rights, specify the exact terms and conditions for the use of your feeds somewhere on your site.

No Lasik because my blog needs more money

No Lasik because my blog needs more moneyYou know my Blog needs more money to fuel my blogging expenses that has been preventing me from Lasik but the real reason is I look glamorous with my business casual shades. Ofcourse I can still wear some sexy shades after I have Lasik but that would be cutting more on my blogging expenses ;-)

Actually it is a pure myth that Lasik is expensive. Add up the cost for glasses, exams, contacts, solutions, and in the long run Lasik is not so bad.

If you live near San Francisco, Lasik in Walnut Creek at LaserVue is a no down, no interest financing option and you can apply online so you know if you qualify even before you make an appointment. Payments are about $60 a month.

Senior LaserVue Lasik doctors have been certified by the nonprofit USAEyes.org Lasik patient advocacy. LaserVue surgeons have performed more than 25,000 procedures. So can you always trust on your eyes when know it’s a good doc?

Complications can happen, but are relatively rare. LaserVue docs help treat patients of other doctors.

Another myth is that there are too many few activities you cannot do after laser vision correction. Actually you can scuba dive, climb mountains, swim in the ocean, even US Air Force fighter pilots and NASA astronauts get Lasik.

Well I hope after reading this post you don't get the heebie jeebies but remember that Lasik is not for everyone, but recovery is relatively quick, there is virtually no pain, and about 12 million people have had laser vision correction.

How I improve my Alexa Ranks

How I improve my Alexa RanksAlexa.com is a subsidiary of Amazon.com. It is a website which provides information on traffic levels for websites. The Alexa rank is measured according to the amount of users who’ve visited a website with the Alexa toolbar installed. Alexa toolbar is an application developed by Alexa Internet. Its primary use is to measure website statistics. This toolbar collects as well as gives some valuable information. Once you install it, the Alexa toolbar monitors all your surfing and collects information about what domains you visit. They use this data to rank web sites. The traffic rank they assign to websites is based on 3 months of aggregated historical traffic data from millions of other users and is a combined measure of page views and users. Webmasters, advertisers and ad networks use your blog’s Alexa rank as a gauge to determine the worth of a link on your website. If you depend on link or site selling as a form of monetization you’ll definitely want to increase your Alexa rank, because it’ll increase your bargaining power when it comes to ad pricing.

The ranking in Alexa shows the total traffic being generated in your website. There are various steps involved in improving ranking in Alexa. First of all it is suggested to download the alexa toolbar. Then the content, which is written, should include write-ups on Alexa search engine. But a low ranking on Alexa does not indicate that the traffic is not being generated on Google, Yahoo and MSN search engines. Given the fact that Alexa ranking for a site is calculated on the basis of how many visitors with the Alexa toolbar installed have visited that particular site, the results can be inaccurate most of the time.

Naked women serving $5 cups of coffee

Naked women serving $5 cups of coffeeStarbucks is drawing fire from Christian organization known as ‘The Resistance.’ The group claims that the new Starbucks logo (see above) should make people call them ‘Slutbucks.’ Seems that one person's smut is another person's morning latte.

Starbucks has recently introduced a new version of their logo which features a topless mermaid with her legs spread, which has caused outrage from a nation wide Christian media watchdog organization. The Resistance, with has over 3000 members nationwide, is boycotting Starbucks across the country saying their new logo is inappropriate.

The Starbucks logo has a naked woman on it with her legs spread like a prostitute. Need I say more? It’s extremely poor taste, and the company might as well call themselves, Slutbucks.

The logo will run on Starbucks cups for "several more weeks", and will live on as the logo for Pike Place bags of coffee. The image is a less-revealing version of what the chain used for many years, starting when it first opened in Seattle in 1971. That original logo was resurrected in its Northwest outlets for a time in 2006 to mark the chain's 35th anniversary.

The explanation for that initial logo is explained in the book "Pour Your Heart into It: How Starbucks Built a Company One Cup at a Time," written by company founder Howard Schultz. The all-brown logo is a replica of the one the chain used when it opened its first store in Pike Place in Seattle in 1971. The woman is actually a siren, not a mermaid, which in Greek mythology lures people to them with their beautiful songs, and then kills them.

Make money with Helium’s Writers Stimulus Package

Make money with Helium’s Writers Stimulus PackageStarting in May, the Treasury Helium will begin sending economic Writer Stimulus Payments to more than 130 million households its qualified members. To receive a payment, taxpayers Helium members writers must have valid Social Security number, $3,000 of income and file a 2007 federal tax return at least one writing and one rating star. IRS Helium will take care of the rest. Eligible people writers will receive up to two-and-a-half times their normal article earnings. (Apologies, IRS.)

What is it?

Helium shares revenue with members based on the value of each article, which is derived from a combination of article quality, traffic and advertiser interest. The money you receive from this revenue share shows up under “Active Article Earnings” on your Earnings & Payments page each month. Separate from any contest, Invite-a-Writer, Marketplace and Reward-athon earnings, this is the revenue that each of your articles generates. And it’s the object of our Writers Stimulus Package.

As the economy hiccups and advertising revenue dithers, many writers are seeing these revenue share earnings dip. But Helium wants to do its part for our writers pocketbooks (and the global economy), and so we are introducing the Writers Stimulus Package, a six-month program to get us earning our way to economic health!

Are you eligible?

For your active articles on Helium that are earning revenue share:

  1. You need at least one (1) rating star to qualify

  2. Your articles that earn revenue share are then eligible for the following bonuses each month

  3. A. If you have one (1) writing star, you get a 50% bonus
    B. For two (2) writing stars, you get a 75% bonus
    C. For three (3) writing stars, you get a 100% bonus (double your money!)
    D. For four (4) writing stars, you get a 125% bonus
    E. For five (5) writing stars, you get a 150% bonus

How do you get it?

We’ll calculate your article earnings over the month and apply your Writer Stimulus Payment at the end of every month, from May through October 2008. Look in “Adjustments” on your Earnings & Payments page on the first day of the following month (i.e., for your May Stimulus Payment, look on June 1).

How much will you get?

If you have five writing stars (and, of course, a rating star), you would earn two-and-a-half times your usual article earnings! The more writing stars, the higher your Stimulus Payment.

Not eligible at the current time?

As long as you have articles that earn revenue share, all you need is at least one rating star and one writing star to qualify for the Stimulus Payment. Start working on those stars now! If you have at least one rating star and one writing star by the end of May, you can begin earning additional money from the Stimulus Package.

The small print

Contests, Marketplace, Invite-a-Writer and other promotional earnings are not included in the Writers Stimulus Package. If you donated the earnings from an article to a charity, the Writers Stimulus Payment will go to you and not the charity (sorry, but it is too hard to apply this otherwise). The Writers Stimulus Package runs for six months, from May until the end of October 2008. In order for your Writers Stimulus Payments to reflect all your activity in the month, we calculate on the first day of the following month (so May’s Stimulus Payment will appear in your Adjustments on June 1). In case this Stimulus Payment puts you over the $25 mark, we’ll also allow members to request Payment on the first of the month for the duration of the Writers Stimulus Package.

Make money by planning your vacation

Make money by planning your vacationLast week it was my first time down at Los Angeles, and it's jaw-dropping. The deserts of California are ablaze in orange, purple, gold and other flourishes of the artist's palette. It doesn't seem natural, but the season's wildflowers have again transformed the desolation into an iridescent garden. It's enough to make even old-timers awe-struck, mesmerized by the poppies, lumpen and mustard. It's just spectacular, isn't it? Look at it up the hill. The "Mojave Green" is considered the among the deadliest of U.S. rattlesnakes. Black widow spiders have dwelled in the garages. And the land is pitted with critter holes for squirrels, kangaroo rats and gophers. Whatever the price of beauty, it's not too high to deter visitors from entering the floral grounds.

Planning your next vacation and sightseeing tours ? Looking for ideas on what to do? Trusted Tours and Attractions offers discounted tickets to the best sightseeing tours in 23 cities across America. Next time when I visit my favorite Houston or Las Vegas, I would be using the Trusted Tours and Attractions planner and get a better understanding of Things to do in Las Vegas and plan my trip well in advance.

You can also make money by planning your vacation. How ? Sign up for the Trusted Travels eNewsletter and enter to win a $150 iTunes gift card. So hurry up and book now for Memorial Day as the offer ends Saturday, May 31st, 2008.

How to make money as list broker

How to make money as list brokerThere are tens of thousands of different lists available in the commercial marketplace and most of them can be sorted and segmented to reach an almost infinite variety of special markets.

Lists are owned by the people and companies that create them. In many cases, lists are maintained and marketed by management firms who receive a portion of the income generated by rentals. Almost all lists may be rented through list broker who is compensated by the list owners or managers.

Whether a list is rented from its owner or manager or through a list broker, the pricing is the same. The difference is that a broker should be able to recommend lists from several different sources and provide an unbiased description of the relative strengths and weaknesses of each list under consideration. Furthermore, an experienced broker should be able to custom tailor selections from any given list to meet your specific requirements.

How to fix pesky javascript errors on your blog

How to fix pesky javascript errors on your blogYou might have noticed those javascript errors on your blog one time or the other. In most cases these errors turn your visitors away from your blog as it gives a bad impression that you dont have a quality blog. It is very critical to fix these javascript errors to retain your visitors.

Some of the causes of these javascript errors are:
1. Invalid script or a coding problem
2. A domain that has closed
3. Improper syntax used in blogger while pasting the code

I recently had this IZEA script bomb on me, and after doing a post-mortem on it, I came up with the fix which was relatively easy.

Here is the script that was causing the problem:
< script type="text/javascript" src="http://izearanks.com/itk/31134">< /script>

Solution for IZEA itk code script fix:
1. Remove the IZEA itk code from your blog
2. Save you blog
3. Make sure that there are no javascript errors on the blog
4. Add the script again

How Government Makes Billions From The Mortgage Crisis

How Government Makes Billions From The Mortgage CrisisThe mortgage crisis has had a negative impact on everyone, not just homeowners. Elected officials are working hard to pass legislation that is designed to prevent future banking debacles. Unfortunately, history has proven that when legislators over-regulate banks that it tightens the reins on lending. This is done by raising the bar on what it takes to qualify for a mortgage or installment loan. Predictably, it’s the middle class that will feel the pinch more than anyone. Specifically, it’s the middle-class, self employed small business owner that be injured the worst.

Most people are aware that you can reduce your taxes by deducting expenses and qualified charitable contributions. What most people don’t realize is that small business owners live and die by those deductions. Tax rates have risen on the self employed more than any other segment in our society. To counter these tax hikes, legislators created more “loop-holes” write off’s and deductions for small business owners to use.

For this reason, small business owners rely on creative CPA’s to maximize their deductions in order to show less income and pay less taxes. There are nearly 23 million small businesses in America and over 35 million sole-proprietors and almost every one of them employ savvy CPA’s to keep them in the black. The draw-back is that by doing this most self employed borrowers are unable to prove enough income on paper when applying for a loan or a mortgage.

Traditional mortgage lending practices of yester-year required that borrower’s prove sufficient income when taking out a loan. Over the years, taxes have risen for small business owners at staggering rates, far above what they have for W2 employees. At the same time the self employed borrower's “provable” income has dwindled proportionately. Under traditional banking rules most of the self-employed people wouldn’t be able to qualify for business loans or mortgages. This would ultimately force small business owners out of business and cripple our would economy.

This new business paradigm literally forced the banking industry to create lending products that catered to small business owners who could not prove all of their income. These products were called “stated” income loans and did not require borrowers who had good credit to prove their income. These products originally required good credit and sufficient assets in order to qualify for them. Responsible guidelines and common sense underwriting kept default rates on these products in line with conventional mortgages. Unfortunately, as competition for this segment of borrowers stiffened between lenders the stringency to qualify for these mortgages softened, thus the mortgage crisis.

It is exactly this type of loan that our law-makers are trying to do away with through legislation. The new mortgage bill being bounced around has specific remedies for irresponsible lending. Meaning, if a bank loans you money and it can be proven in court (attorneys like this law by the way) that the bank was irresponsible in doing so they could be penalized. The definition of “irresponsible” is did the borrower have the capacity to repay the loan, meaning did they prove enough income. This bill will kill stated income loans, period.

So where does this leave the responsible self employed borrowers who needed these loans to live and operate their businesses? This leaves them with higher taxes. Should this bill pass self employed borrowers will be forced to claim more income each year on their tax returns in order to qualify for car loans, mortgages and even business loans. This will negate any of the loop-holes and deductions they were promised in lieu of higher taxes.

This means the government will rake in billions in extra revenue as a result of this bill. For example, let’s assume that a small business owner claimed $40,000 in income last year after deductions and business expenses. If she was in a 40% tax bracket she would pay roughly $16,000 in taxes. Under the new banking guidelines that same business owner may have to claim $80,000 In order to qualify for mortgages, car loans and business loans. Assuming she’s in the same tax bracket, she would now have to pay $32,000 in taxes.

Multiply $32,000 by 23 million business owners and that’s one huge pay-day for Uncle Sam. You can bet that the Senators pushing this bill through congress are well aware of this left handed tax raise. You will never hear them mention it either, I wonder why?. You will hear about the naughty lenders that put good wholesome red blooded Americans in the street through predatory lending practices. You will never hear about the 20 million business owners who paid their mortgages on time and actually need these loans to stay in business.

How people make money on Forever Stamps

How people make money on Forever StampsThe price of a first-class stamp will increase one penny to 42 cents tomorrow, the U.S. Postal Service said in a reminder on its Web site.

Prices for other mailing services, including standard mail, periodicals, package services and special services, will also increase tomorrow, the Postal Service, an independent federal agency, said. The agency first announced the price increase on Feb. 11.

Forty-two-cent stamps will be required on first-class mail weighing an ounce (0.02 kilograms) or less, while first-class mail weighing as much as two ounces will increase 1 cent to 59 cents, the Postal Service said.

The last first-class mail increase was in May 2007, to 41 cents from 39 cents.

Postal Service offers "Forever Stamps." Buy them at today's rate and they're good, well, forever.

Buy them this week at 41 cents and next week, when the rate is 42, they're still good -- and will be five or 10 years from now. Buy as many as you like. The Postal Service said it would have 5 billion in stock before the penny increase on May 12, 2008.

A guy in Camp Hill, Pa., bought $8,000 worth last year. That's 19,512 stamps, and change.

Come Sunday he'll have a 2.44 percent return on that money -- better than the stock market this year.

Buy now and get a bargain.

A business plan not only lends your business a sense of credibility, but also helps you to cover all your bases, increasing your chances of success.

Although writing a business plan can be a lengthy, intimidating project, it is not necessarily difficult. Here is an overview of how to write a successful business plan.

What to Include in Your Business Plan

Your business plan needs to demonstrate that you have thoroughly considered all aspects of running your business. To that end, the standard business plan has nine major sections, covering everything from your business’s mission statement to a detailed financial analysis.

Executive Summary

The first – and most important – section of your business plan is the executive summary. This section is so important that it should literally be the first thing the reader sees – even before the table of contents! However, it should also be written last, as you’ll have a better understanding of the overall message of your business plan after you’ve researched and written the other sections.

Market Analysis

The next section of your business plan focuses on market analysis. In order to show that your business has a reasonable chance for success, you will need to thoroughly research the industry and the market you intend to sell to. No bank or investor is going to back a doomed venture, so this section is sure to fall under especially close scrutiny if you are looking for financing.

Company Description

After your market analysis, your business plan will need to include a description of your company. This section should describe:

• The nature of your business
• The needs of the market
• How your business will meet these needs
• Your target market, including specific individuals and/or organizations
• The factors that set you apart from your competition and make you likely to succeed

Organization and Management

Once you have described the nature and purpose of your company, you will need to explain your staff setup. This section should include:

• The division of labor – how company processes are divided among the staff
• The management hierarchy
• Profiles of the company’s owner(s), management personnel, and the Board of Directors
• Employee incentives, such as salary, benefits packages, and bonuses

Marketing and Sales Management

The purpose of the marketing and sales section of your business plan is to outline your strategies for marketing your products or services. This section also plans for company growth by describing how the growth could take place.

The section should describe your company’s:

• Marketing methods
• Distributions methods
• Type of sales force
• Sales activities
• Growth strategies

Product or Services

Following the marketing section of your business plan, you will need a section focusing on the product or services your business offers. This is more than a simple description of your product or services, though. You will also need to include:

• The specific benefits your product or service offers customers
• The specific needs of the market, and how your product will meet them
• The advantages your product has over your competitors
• Any copyright, trade secret, or patent information pertaining to your product
• Where any new products or services are in the research and development process
• Current industry research that you could use in the development of products and services

Funding Request

Only once you have described your business from head to toe are you ready to detail your funding needs. This section should include everything a bank or investor needs in order to understand what type of funding you want:

• How much money you need now
• How much money you think you will need over the next five years
• How the money you borrow will be used
• How long you will need funding
• What type of funding you want (i.e. loans, investors, etc.)
• Any other terms you want the funding arrangement to include

Financials

The financials section in your business plan supports your request for outside funding. This section provides an analysis of your company’s prospective financial success. The section also details your company’s financial track record for the past three to five years, unless you are seeking financing for a startup business.

The financials section should include:

• Company income statements for prior years
• Balance sheets for prior years
• Cash flow statements for prior years
• Forecasted company income statements
• Forecasted balance sheets
• Forecasted cash flow statements
• Projections for the next five years – every month or quarter for the first year, with longer intervals for the remaining years
• Collateral you can use to secure a loan

Appendices

The appendix is the final section in your business plan. Essentially, this is where you put all of the information that doesn’t fit in the other eight sections, but that someone – particularly a bank or investor – might need to see.

Other information that should be relegated to an appendix includes:

• Credit histories for both you and your business
• Letters of reference
• References that have bearing on your company and your product or service, such as magazines or books on the topic
• Company licenses and patents
• Copies of contracts, leases, and other legal documents
• Resumes of your top managers
• Names of business consultants, such as your accountant and attorney

Despite the quantity of information contained in your business plan, it should be laid out in a format that is easy to read. Just like with any piece of business writing, it is important to craft your business plan with your intended audience in mind – and the bankers, investors, and other busy professionals who will read your business plan almost certainly won’t have time to read a tedious document with long-winded paragraphs and large blocks of text.

Business plans for startup companies and company expansions are typically between twenty to forty pages long, but formatting actually accounts for a lot of this length. A strong business plan uses bullet points throughout to break up long sections and highlight its main points. Visuals such as tables and charts are also used to quickly relay specific information, such as trends in sales and other financial information. These techniques ensure that the reader can skim the business plan quickly and efficiently.

Restaurants Offer Mother's Day Specials

Restaurants Offer Mother's Day SpecialsDid you know that 2008 is the 100th anniversary of Mother's Day? Contrary to popular belief, the holiday wasn't invented by Hallmark, but rather by a West Virginia woman who wanted a special day to memorialize moms. (It's interesting to note, however, that founder Ann Jarvis was disavowing the holiday as early as 1917 because it had become so commercialized.)

Mother's Day is the most popular day of the year to dine out, according to the National Restaurant Association.

The association estimates that six out of 10 Americans will eat their Mother's Day meal at a restaurant.
