Could a bad credit rating save you from bigger problems? It has done just that for many young people. How can this be?
I am not recommending that you purposely try to get a bad credit rating, but if you already have one, it isn't all bad. The habits that got you there would probably get you into even more trouble if you could borrow more bad credit loans. Look at it as an opportunity to stop going further into debt, and a chance to learn better habits.
Start paying cash for everything. Pay down those credit card balances (the higher interest ones first). The moment you get those cards paid off, start setting aside money to buy a good used car for cash. When you've done that, start putting what would have been a car payment into a savings account, for a future down payment on house or a business (the only things you should borrow for). A bad credit credit card rating can be good thing, if you take it as a lesson and an opportunity.

How to make money while playing games online?
Free to sign up and free to play, Moola starts you off with $0.01 and then you double your balance for each game you win. You have the potential to make $10,000,000 by just winning 30 games. Yes, I said potential. You see for each game you lose, you lose the amount you bet on it. So if you bet your one cent and lose, you start over. But, do not despair! You can bet as little or as much as you want and climb up the ladder steadily. Also, there are a few helpful things along the way…
First of all, there is the Search and Win feature which pays you for searching. Just make the moola search engine your homepage and use it like you would any other search engine and you have the potential to make money every time you search. When you make a search a wheel will pop up with a bunch of dollar amounts around it. You spin the wheel and whatever it lands on, you win! Doing this a few times a day will add up your balance very quickly and allow you to play at a higher level.
Currently there are 3 games that you can play: High or Low in which they give you a card and you have to pick whether the next card will be higher or lower, Ro Sham Bo, which is a rock paper scissors type game, and Goldrush in which they give you six pieces of gold to compete against another player with.
Moola is highly addictive and fun, and can earn you a few extra bucks while you’re playing. If you’re interested in giving it a try, follow this link and sign up.

Increase page rank with Post Exchange (Beta)
Smorty have recently added a new feature to your admin panels aimed at increasing page rank, search engine results, traffic and building a tighter community.
Post exchange is all about writing positive posts about each others blogs. Bloggers from the same category and related star ratings will have the opportunity to review each others blogs. It works in the same way as a sponsored review, however this is completely free.
For every post you write for a fellow blogger, a different blogger will write a post for you. This means relevant traffic can be passed between similar blogs and a strong community can be built by helping each other.
To be a part of this community please log into your Smorty account https://members.smorty.com/ and follow the link to Post Exchange from top menu.
Be sure to read the FAQ's and rules that I had posted here before starting.
Good luck and happy blogging to you all.

Improved Ranking at Alexa
The folks at Alexa have announced that their ever so popular (but, many might argue, often inaccurate) ranking system for web sites has been altered. The official word on the changes is slightly vague: Alexa claims “better rankings,” and “improved methodology,” but doesn’t go into detail.
One change, however, is definitely a big one: Alexa is now using several sources for its rankings. So far, Alexa has measured rankings of web sites according to the users of their Alexa Toolbar, and this was the main source of users’ and experts’ criticism. For one, the Toolbar is not available for all platforms (you can’t get it for a Mac, and that’s why Mac-oriented sites have always ranked poorly on Alexa). Secondly, the Toolbar was reportedly mostly used by the tech-savvy demographic which are interested in rankings, and therefore various technology and SEO sites were perhaps unfairly well ranked.
Now, the Toolbar is not the only source of data anymore, although Alexa doesn’t elaborate on what exactly these other sources are. While this certainly sounds like an improvement, until we get the details about these mystical new data sources, it’s hard to assume that Alexa is more or less accurate. What do you think? Has the Alexa ranking for your website changed? Please let us know in the comments.
Update: if you’re wondering why the “max” setting shows only the last 9 months, it’s because the old data is no longer available. This is a big drawback, as one of Alexa’s biggest strengths was the fact that they had data for several years back. Luckily, the change is only temporary; nevertheless, they can expect thousands of emails from angry users who’ll want their old data past the 9 months range.

SEO gimmicks with SharedNews and ShareScore
Welcome to SharedNews, where you can acquire instant information on what your friends are doing within the community. This will provide valuable insight into which of your friends are writing and updating their reviews. You will receive real-time notices on votes and comments on your own reviews.
As well, you’ll have a plethora of new friend notices to see who they are becoming friends with, how their ShareScore grows or decreases and when they update their profile. Other system notices include Private Messages or when a review is sent back for some edits. When you go to check it out in the Community tab, make sure you update your status to let all your friends know what you think!
ShareScore Update
In the first three weeks since launch, ShareScore has had an amazing impact on the quality of activity within the community. Almost everyone is stepping up to the plate and taking community responsibility in voting for only the best reviews, helping to police bad content through the reporting tool, and helping new users get started as our community grows.
Congratulations to our first members who have hit a 100% ShareScore, earning the right to place more votes than anyone else in the community. Everyone keep up the great work!
Development of additional social features such as Groups and Applications for other social networks continues, so please keep your feedback coming in on how we can help you grow your community and earnings in new and better ways.

Want to meet some happy Helium writers? Then join in the Congratulations to all Reward-athon participants in the Helium Community.
Many have asked if there will ever be another Reward-athon. That's a good question. As you all know, Helium always comes up with something exciting.

FREE links with Smorty Post exchange program
Post exchange program is for the Smorty community to become stronger by helping each other. It simply aims to build a strong and ongoing inbound link structure and increase your online traffic. It is completely free to use and all approved blogs can participate. Please play by the rules just as you would with a paid post. Post quality will affect your overall Smorty five star rating.
Post exchange works on a point based system. For every post you write, a different blogger can write a post for you in return. Exchange as many posts as you can until you have used up your chosen category of bloggers. You can take one task at a time. Once this has been submitted you may take your next task. For every post you write, a post will be written for you by a different blogger, one for one.
Posts are exchanged among the blogs under the same category as yours.
Your posts will be exchanged only under similar Smorty star rated bloggers.
There is no reciprocal delivery. That means there is no cross linking.
Blogs are only selected from the same category with closer star ratings to yours.
To keep it simple and fair Google page rank has no effect on task delivery.
Post exchange ratings are affected in the same way as paid posts affect your rating. Your star rating will be affected by a disputed post, a declined post and an approved post. Bloggers can also manually give you a rating out of 5 stars for your post.
You can only dispute a post based on the same post exchange rules you must follow. The are outlined to the right of this page. If a post does not comply with the post exchange rules then it can be disputed a maximum of three times. The writer of the post has two chances to fix the problem. On the third time it will be declined automatically and a new blogger will take the task.
Rules
1. Posts must be uniquely written
2. Post and exact link must be permanent.
3. Minimum 150 words.
4. Posts must be accessible from home page.
5. Posts must be written in English.
6. Posts must have correct spelling and grammar.
7. Posts must be related to target blogs main topic.
8. Posts must only link to target blog.
9. Posts must not use "no follow tag"
10. Posts must not be listed in a sponsored category.
